The Humo Arena project was implemented as part of the development strategy of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021, to support the creative and intellectual potential of the younger generation, to foster a healthy lifestyle among children, and to promote sports.

The complex hosts large-scale events: hockey matches of the Supreme Hockey League, International Hockey League championships, IIHF matches, figure skating, power martial arts and team sport competitions, as well as exhibitions, forums, concerts of local and foreign performers and much more.
