Saneg launches a solar power plant in Andijan region

Saneg has completed the first phase of construction of the "Khojaobod" photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) in the Andijan region. The project is being implemented as part of the company’s strategy to develop renewable energy sources.

At the first stage, the plant's capacity stands at 3 MW (DC). The project includes the installation of 5,000 solar panels for power generation, along with 20 inverter transformer substations for energy conversion and distribution into the grid.

The expected annual electricity generation at this stage is 6 million kWh. The energy produced will be used to supply the company’s production facilities and regional infrastructure.

“The launch of the first phase of the ‘Khojaobod’ PVPP is a significant milestone in the development of our energy projects. This facility will provide additional electricity generation and demonstrate the potential of solar energy in the region. In the near future, we plan to launch the second phase of the PVPP, increasing the plant’s capacity to 5 MW”, - said Tulkin Yusupov, General Director of Saneg.
