On April 26–27, at the Samarkand Tourist Center (STC), OSIYOTECH, a company within the Enera Group, held a large-scale conference dedicated to pressing issues of cybersecurity in today’s digital society and business.
The event brought together more than 80 participants — leading experts, vendors, and customers from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Among the key vendors presenting their solutions and expertise were well-known companies such as Kaspersky Lab, Solar Security, Security Vision, Fuzzy Logic Labs, IT Bastion and Astra.
As customers, the conference was attended by representatives of the banking, fintech, industrial, government, and other economic sectors, all interested in ensuring the reliable protection of their infrastructure, information systems, and clients from modern cyber threats.
The conference featured thematic sessions covering a wide range of cybersecurity-related topics. Participants discussed SOC (Security Operations Center) development strategies, current cyber threats in the industrial sector, various types of fraud in banking and the fintech industry in the digital age, methods for managing the human factor’s impact on information security, orchestration of cybersecurity processes, and approaches to protecting the internal perimeter from data leaks. Special attention was given to a session with live demonstrations of real-world case studies that clearly showed the effectiveness of various digital threat protection solutions.
